Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 1424157900, Paperback)
Eleanor Bush has been a presence in my life for twenty years. Twice a month, we attend Barbour County Writers’ Workshop. During these years, I have watched her produce poems of natural beauty and profound wisdom, a vast collection of poetry containing her professional knowledge of steep rocky hills, streams, woods, all of nature’s bountiful flora, and her knowledge of human nature. Indeed, she has trekked the whole of Barbour County, West Virginia—336 square miles—collecting for more than thirty years numerous plant specimens for the West Virginia University Herbarium and compiling a landmark publication. Her lovely knowledge is made available for us to read through her poems in this book. Rotundafoliate, meaning round leaf, is her signature poem. Eleanor Bush has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Science in education from West Virginia University, and a Master of Arts from Ohio State University. It has been my great privilege to edit and compile Rotundafoliate.
