The autobiography of Dick Francis, English jockey and steeplechaser. First published in 1957, the year he retired from racing, before he began to write thrillers. This edition has an additional chapter on Francis' life as a writer from 1956 to 1981. Interesting background for fans of his other books, most of which are set in the world of horse racing in England. (
