I was surprised to find this old book quite readable and engaging. I purchased it because of a fondness for old children's books about space travel, but I gladly gave it my children to enjoy before putting it on my shelf. It covers major milestones of flight history up until John Glenn's Friendship 7 space flight. Fun.
