This is truly a book about Transitions in the Realms, from politics to the group of friends that have been Drizzt's companions for years. Its mostly about the orc kingdom, which is a bit of a stretch, but this story moves along very well. ( )Drizzt has to be the best Drow character ever made. He has been in so many books and the way Salvatore make’s him attack and move around stealthily is just awesome. In the beginning Drizzt is watching a dwarf, a human, and an elf packing their luggage. When they see him they all freak out and start to attack him, but he single handedly takes them all out, with the help of his pet panther of course. Overall this book is 5 stars. More of the same, in a good way. If you like the Drizzt series you'll like this one too. As usual I enjoyed the Salvatore's style of sharing Drizzt's personal introspection. no reviews | add a review
