This dictionary was/is a good value for it's price. In addition to having a useful selection of definitions, it includes handy quick reference charts (time, currency, etc.) that are helpful to students and others. It's a hardback and not portable enough to be a routine backpack item, but it (the newer edition, of course) could make a valuable addition to a dorm room, college apartment, desk at work. ( )
