He keeps to himself and soon grows to be a beauitful swan. He realizes that different could be beautiful. This has always been one of my favorite stories about how one can change. The tone of the book was sad at first but had a happy ending. The illustrations were good. I think I could understand the story without the words. I could use this book in the classroom to help the children become more friendly and by teaching them that they may grow or change in many ways. no reviews | add a review

I like this book because I did not know that he was a swan from the beginning. I had heard the story but not the end.
I would use this book in the classroom when bullying is going on with the students. It will help the students become more friendly or respectful of others no matter what they may look like now.
