I love Richard Dawkins. Have I said that yet? Oh yes, I totally have. Anyhow, this is a great book about ... ... River out of Eden, or if you've some biological knowledge then the The Extended Phenotype would be a good read. Even Unweaving The Rainbow had it's own certain charm about it, though it is definitely aimed more at the lay person, and doesn't go into any particular depth on anything, only ... ... tools for intellectual combat against irrational beliefs. That said, I find that it is not his best work. I would recommend Unweaving the Rainbow as a gentler and better written book.
