This is a great book for fans of The Doors, told from the perspective of the skeptical drummer. I love the honest descriptions of Jim Morrison's erratic behavior, his rise and fall, and the story of the band's evolution in the public eye. Reflective and interesting for anyone who loves the music of The Doors. ( )

Densmore seemed to whine too much about how he was treated by Morrison and others. It was interesting at times, but I found the whining to be annoying. ( )
