The only part that I liked was wehn they arrested teh murderous Nora and she was gone for good. I dind't like the atmosphere of teh book. For example, it talked a lot about sex and what Nora did to her husbands and steal their money. AHS/KS

Patterson releases who the killer is in the beginning of this book so a bit of the mystery is gone. However, I enjoyed reading from the killer's perspective as well as from the one solving the crime. Part of the ending is interesting because you don't have it figured out, Then part of the ending is just too brief & quick leaving it hard to beleive would happen. Still a big fan of Patterson and it did hold my attention. ( )

Good, quick read. Short chapters, large print--great "beach" (ok, in the canoe) read. ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0446613371, Mass Market Paperback)

Don't give away the ending... Don't give away the beginning. How does it feel to be desired by every man and envied by every woman? Wonderful. This is the life Nora Sinclair has worked hard for, the life she will never give up. She doesn't just attract men, she enthralls them. So why is FBI agent John O'Hara interested in Nora Sinclair? Mysterious things happen to people around her, especially the men. And there is something dangerous about Nora, something that lures O'Hara at the same time that it fills him with fear. Is something dark hidden in the gaps in her past? As O'Hara spends more and more time getting to know her, is he pursuing justice? Or his own fatal obsession?.
