Loading... Aunt Nancy and the Bothersome Visitorsby Phyllis Root
None. great short reads that portray the art of persuasion, hinting, and outwitting someone at their own game. I especially liked the story of Cousin Lazybones where Aunt Nancy outwits him into helping her set her house in order although all he wants to do is sit inside on her rocking chair. This is a good book to use for perspective, attitude. 'It's all how you look at a thing." With each of the four short stories you can hear yourself developing a southern twang. ( )This chapter book is great for young readers because it includes many stories within the same book. Also, although Aunt Nancy is presented with many unfortunate events she also seems to find a creative, positive solution. Clever Aunt Nancy manages to foil all those who try to get the better of her. no reviews | add a review
