The third book in the Dragon Circle series - the completion of the adventures of the residents of Chestnut Circle in the land of the dragon - sees the return of the dragon and the questions raised in the first two books somewhat answered.

I found this book disappointing compared to the first two with the conclusion and resultant climax unsatisfying to my mind. Still, it was worth reading, if only to find out what happens when the 'dragon burns', why the neighbours were brought to this land and what role each had to play, while, hopefully, tying up all the loose ends from the other two books. I think there is a message for humankind in this story, but I am not sure the meaning is all that clear.
