SHort and sweet but powerful verse. Maya Angelou short collection (4 poems) is as the title states phenomenal. I guess you wouldn't expect anything less from this great writer/poet. My favorite poemof the four is "Our Grandmothers." This poem really has a very powerful meaning that you can feel her passion and the struggle of black women as you read this one. Add this book to your poetry collection. ( )

Extremely enjoyable, four poems about women. Ms. Angelou brings the women to life on the pages as the words flow with power and hope.
"I'm a women
Phenomenally
Phenomenal woman,
That's me."

Words from the title poem of the work tell it all. A book about women for everyone. ( )
