Hey, You! is a compilation of children's poems that are so cute and nicely illustrated. My favorite one in the book is about astronauts. The book is very creative and quite interesting. I love they way that each poem is completely different than the one before or after it. ( )

I liked this collection of poetry. Some of the poems rhymed, while others did not. They were collection of poems of the writer speaking to objects, this is called apostrophe in poetry. At the end one is even dedicated to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The poems are catchy and the pictures are beautiful. The book includes two poems about mosquitoes that you could use in your classroom for your students to compare and contrast. ( )

This was a very nice book with some pretty good poems in them. I'm not super huge into poems myself, but they are in my opinion very important to learn and to study at some point in your grade school career. This particular book had some very nice illustrations that did a great job of describing the poems themselves. ( )
