Loading... Apples and Pumpkinsby Anne Rockwell
None. Perfect book for autumn. ( )Great book for fall reading! Genre: Through the non-fiction story the reader is able to see into the life of a child Halloween adventure. This adventure is shown through real life sceanarios that could have happened but did not necessarily happen. Media: water color Use: lesson on halloween adventures, lesson on things of fall Genre: Fiction Critique: This book is an excellent example of fiction because it is a not-real story with realistic characters and a realistic plot line Summary: Fall means getting to visit the Comstock farm, and that means getting to pick the reddest apples and picking pumpkins for one little girl. After they pick their apples and pumpkins, they carve funny jack-o-lantern faces into their pumpkins and light them in time for trick or treating. Characterization: The little girl caracter is a flat character. There is no depth to he character and little or no emotional investment in her as a character, but it wasn't really necessary for the story Media: The book doesn't say, but it looks like ink and watercolor or some type of paint This was a very simple book and seemed to lack character, but definitely explored the fun of Fall.
