But I have to agree with The five people you meet in Heaven as one that I couldn't stand. Eragon is another. IMHO, That book was even worse that the movie version. (That doesn't happen often!) Als ... ... could recommend me a really good fiction about the afterlife. I read What Dreams May Come by Richard Matheson and The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom and LOVED them. Has anybody read these? Can someone make a good rec?
Also, I am reading The Birth Of Venus by Sa ... ... and simplistic. If you've read any Mitch Albom they say he is similar though I'm not sure I agree. I love MA's The 5 People you meet in Heaven though I'm not too keen on Tuesdays with Maurie so I can't really comment there. I can't say I hated The 5 People You Meet in Heaven but it certainly wasn't as inspiring as I was expecting.
