This board book for very young children shows daddy animals kissing their children on different parts of their bodies, and ends with a human daddy kissing his child all over. While not very accurate from a zoological perspective, this is a sweet book and a fun way to initiate playful affection between father and child. Review by Book Dads This book is wonderfully simple with colorful pictures and easy text. It's fun to share with little ones, because it gives Daddy and Mommy a chance to kiss their child as they read, just like the animals described in the book. Innocent and oh! so sweet! Newborn through three (3) years. Perfect for the really little ones; reading them a short story like this can initiate a love of books in a child. no reviews | add a review

Beautifully textured oil paintings in rich tones invite kids to reach out and feel the pages of this board book illustrated by Georg Hallensleben. A wonderful books showing the tender, gentle side of fathers (and some otherwise scary animals like the lions on the cover). Good for learning and making animal names and sounds, as well as parts for the body. A great choice for a preschool storytime, or for reading with a young one at home. (
