Thanks for the ideas. I just ordered Chanda's Secrets in Hardcover through paperbackswap and The God of Small things on audio cassette through paperbackswap as well. Put Purple Hibiscus on my wish list there. ... I wish I hadn't let the size of them put me off for so long as I've really enjoyed both! My next plan is to go for The god of small things and The Buddha of Suburbia as I feel like 2 1000 pagers in a row was a bit extreme!
