53. For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison (04/06/09) Didn't enjoy this as much as the previous book in the series.

41) For a Few Demons More - Kim Harrison "The fifth entry in Kim Harrison's series about Rachel Morgan and the Hollows. I would say that this book is easily the best since book two - the action kicked off literally from page one and there were enough plot twists, complications, heart-pounding ...

If you consider Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series to be "sci-fi" then Ivy Tamwood. And Shori in Octavia Butler's Fledgling.

... ovie). In other words, I do like dead-tree books. On the other hand, I also like lots of books like Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, but I don't really want a lot of paper around my house of books that I'm going to read once, that are enjoyable, but that have no real enduring value. Th ...

... mentioned and this is the only one of her long works that I'm familiar with. Someone here on LT mentioned Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, and in just the past month I've read all six of them on my Kindle. I can't really objectively rate these among the "best" love stories, but I personally ...

Kindle: Kim Harrison's For a Few Demons More ("The Hollows" #5) Dead-tree: Elizabeth Gaskell's Life of Charlotte Bronte

Kindle: Just finished Kim Harrison's A Fistful of Charms ("The Hollows" #4) and just starting For a Few Demons More ("The Hollows" #5). Dead-tree: Gaskell's Life of Charlotte Bronte.

Ivy Tamwood of "The Hollows" . . . she can vamp me ANYDAY!

... Brood and Fledgling to my Kindle. I'll probably buy them for Kindle after I'm done reading some more of Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, which is my first Kindle priority right now.

Kim Harrison's Dead Witch Walking. I'm going to go on to the rest of The Hollows series after that. I've been reading a sci-fi collection by Octavia Butler (Bloodchild and other stories) in dead-tree version, which prompted me to download Kindle samples of Lilith's Brood and Fledgling, ...

... Rachels naivite about the whole vampire thing more. It has been a while since I read the books, but as far as I recall Rachel Morgan gets a boyfriend in book two. But it is obvious that her vampire roommate (don't recall the name) has a crush on her.

43.) For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison These just get better and better, huh? This one had more darkness and less fun than the first four, but was still an excellent page turner. March, I think, for the next one? Now that I have brilliantly learned to buy my hardbacks on e-bay, I can ...

There is an option if you don't want to buy the HC of For a Few Demons More. In the UK they are publishing the series, but haven't gone to HC. I got mine in PB in April I think (same month as published here in HC). It also cost less than the HC, even with the difference in price. I have ...

14) For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison Now I'm finally caught up with her "The Hollows" series.

... Harrison shy away from taking bold steps to move the plot forward. I'm waiting with baited breath for the sequel to For a Few Demons More. I even liked it enough to buy the hardback. Anyway, a little OT. Happy reading!

Kim Harrison's latest, For a Few Demons More is pretty much focused on demons and is a good read. However, you'll miss some of the nuances and references if you don't read the earlier novels, especially regarding her relationship to Al.
