After finishing Seeing Me Naked by Liza Palmer this morning, I decided it was time to mix it up a bit and read a classic (considering how much I love classics, I haven't read many at all this year). So I'm starting The Woman in White this afternoon. 33. Seeing Me Naked by Liza Palmer
After taking as long as I did to finish The Little Stranger, I wanted to read something that was quick, and Seeing Me Naked certainly fit the bill. It was quick, entertaining and light, and a great late-summer read. Added books 32 and 33: The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters, which I finished last week, and Seeing Me Naked by Liza Palmer, which I finished earlier today. Both were good for different reasons, but neither knocked me off my socks. Total so far: 21.5 ... ballads, so they're not exactly, you know . . . necessarily much without music. Overall, not quite a recommendation.

A good read. Of the genre I describe as "high-quality chick-lit". Made me feel warm and fuzzy. All that jazz. Highly recommended.
