The R ... ... (It would also apply to "on a plane" and "in a boat") There's a really neat book by Stephen Pinker, I think it's The Stuff of Thought, where he tries to find the types of groupings or commonalities to explain that type of thing. ... I think). Not a bad read at all.
Which leaves me with Titus Groan and The Amulet of Samarkand on the go, as well as The Stuff of Thought which I haven't picked up for ages now... I finished The Pirate's Daughter this morning and have now started Gods Behaving Badly. I also have The Stuff of Thought on the go for non-fiction but last week was a bit manic so I didn't get much reading done - hoping for more time on it this week! I also need to start Lord of Light for ... ... yesterday which I enjoyed and am just about to start Northanger Abbey for an internet book group. I'm still reading The Stuff of Thought for my non-fiction.
I also still have The Historian going on in the background; I suspect I might end up not finishing it. ...

Somebody guess! januaryw, I've just started reading The Stuff of Thought so I was thinking it might be in the bit to come - very good book, I'm a bit fascinated ... then again, I'm always a bit fascinated by language!
But as for this, I'm now at a loss.... I'm thinking non-fiction? Something about language? The Stuff of Thought? ... by Steven Pinker (an atheist, I might add) who wrote How the Mind Works, The Language instinct (great book), and The Stuff of Thought. ... actually saying so.
On a language-loving note though, this is an interesting semantics lesson. I am currently reading The Stuff of Thought by Steven Pinker. He talks about this very thing. Semantics have quite a bit to say about how one sees the world. If you are interested in ...
