This is a superb book, a worthy successor to his earlier work, Jesus Before Christianity.

Nolan looks first at the context in which we live our lives today, then examines the life of Jesus to determine Jesus' spirituality, which in turn gives us a gide as to how we should live our lives. In some ways it's a sophisticated (and yet so simple!) answer to those who like to ask the question, "What would Jesus do?", written by a humble, holy and wise man. ( )
