None. This is the fifth book in the series. I enjoy Martin Freeman's reading of the book. This book focus mainly on Arthur and seems to mostly ignore the fourth book in the series. It is an fun read, but it doesn't make a lot of sense and is random and off the wall. ( )Its years since I read the first four volumes of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and really enjoyed it. Perhaps my taste has changed or I can't get into the 'mood' but I really didn't enjoy this book. It just seemed to be a 'clever' messa round with words and the sort of adolescent fantasies of the universe that kids who were stoned and listening to Pink Floyd tended to come up with. Like a lot of things, it was more fun to have lived it than to read about it. There were a couple of good sentences that made me pause and think and that boosted up the rating, but only to a two-star. Well, this was enjoyable. Not the best in the series, but surprisingly consistent to it. I say surprising because I've heard and read that it wasn't up to par with the whole of the series. I will say that the ending of it was less that satisfying. On it's own as an ending, it was fine. But to know it was the last book Adams would write in the series, I felt there were too many questions left unanswered. Will the [a:Eoin Colfer|10896|Eoin Colfer|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1254336426p2/10896.jpg] book [b:And Another Thing...|6359434|And Another Thing... But regardless to that, I really enjoyed the whole series by Adams. My blog post about this book can be read at this link. I like how Arthur became the sandwich maker and was revered for it. I also liked how the people of Lamuella thought that being the apprentice of the sandwich maker was the best job in the village. The ending is crazy because Adams built up to it throughout the book. no reviews | add a review
