I once heard someone say after hearing Zig Ziglar speak: "Vintage Ziglar". Well, this book is vintage Ziglar which makes it better than most books. Good dose of positive mental attitudes + actions. I read in honor of his passing this year. ( )

Many of the stories have been repeated from the audio books. However, the content, although basic, is uplifting and encouraging. It was a great choice to serve as a pick-me-up after a setback. Key take aways from the book were: To get to the top of any organization you must start, You work as if you had the job you wish to have, and Attitude and character will give you more success than money and titles. This book was a gift from my father many years ago as I graduated from college. I loved it then, and still find that the advice Mr Ziglar shares serves me well in all aspects of my life. A great read for anyone. ( )

These motivational principles can be used by children or golden-agers. The positive energy Zig Ziglar demonstrates in person translates very well to the printed page. ( )
