If ever there was a book that epitomized the DIY movement, this is it. Others have disappointed because they were comprised of no more than craft projects that looked sadly homemade.

There is an aspect of DIY that speaks (or should speak) to artistry and even (gasp!) commerce. This book is not only full of great innovations, it is thoughtfully produced. There is a wealth of well-exhibited examples. ( )
