The final chapters encourage reminiscing about the remarkable 2004 post-season. ( )I bought this book when Johnny was a member of the Red Sox. A month later I received an autographed copy of the book as a birthday present. My unsigned copy is up for grabs on Bookmooch - I can't get rid of it quickly enough. Even though he is a traitor I am keeping my signed copy. This book reads like a 3rd graders book report. I mean this literally! I couldn't get through the first two chapters without getting a headache from all of the grammatical errors it is riddled with. And based on my last sentence I am not an English scholar by any means. This is probably why I am a book reader and not an author. I figured since the book was written by Damon and an author that the author would guide the book into a readable account ( being Damon is a ball player and not an author) of Damon's experiences. Apparently Golenbock just wanted his name in print. And I suppose the publisher figured it would be a top seller based on Damon's status as a baseball player. Unfortunately for the reader this book is a complete disaster. I gave this book a 1/2 star based entirely on the fact that it is autographed, and we are unable to take stars away. At least they got the title correct, because everyone involved in the project should add the salutation of IDIOT before their names. Probably a good book on account it has something 2 do w/ baseball and I will read anything that has something 2 do with baseball, especially if it has 2 do w/:Red Sox,Yankees, and Cincinnati Reds. :) TRAITOR no reviews | add a review
