Three very different young men take a road trip together and deal with issues of acceptance, coming out, finding love and parental reaction to their homosexuality. ( )

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the previous two - the idea of the three boys on a road trip was so fraught with disaster it just seemed silly, and their stops along the way had a clear agenda. I think the message overwhelmed the characters in this one. But I'd still give it to fans of the first two books, so they can find out what happens in the end. ( )

While driving across the United States during the summer after high school graduation, three young gay men encounter various bisexual and homosexual people and make some decisions about their own relationships and lives.

This is the best of the three books in this series. ( )

i read the first of this trilogy at least two years ago, and haven't read the second, so I missed a bit in the middle, which wasn't terribly important. this is mostly a PSA about being gay, coming out, tolerance, etc. Not awful.

It's the end of the road....

Jason Carrillo came out to his basketball team and lost his university scholarship. Now that he's graduated, he's been asked to speak at the opening of a gay and lesbian high school across the country -- but what is he going to say?

Kyle Meeks is getting ready to go to Princeton in the fall. When his boyfriend, Jason, mentions the speaking invitation, he jumps at the chance to go with him -- but can their romance survive two weeks crammed together in a car?

Nelson Glassman is happy that his best friend, Kyle, has found love with Jason. Now he wants to find a soul mate of his own and is going to start looking during the road trip -- but will being "third wheel" ruin his friendship with Kyle and Jason?
