7. Music ... ... that includes most of the old literary classics and many lay medical books. We both have built up a set of books on the Inklings and Katherine Kurtz and a few other authors. So, the problem is what kind of completeness can we cope with successfully. #6 - From reading the Letters of Tolkien, the the Tolkien bio, and then The Inklings (all edited or composed by Humphrey Carpenter), I would say that your statement is close. I think JRR was more upset by the fact that Lewis stayed protestant (a "Northern Ireland protestant") (the Tolkien bio, ... ... Dorothy Sayers was not a member, though she seemed to be on the same wavelength.
