Ludlum uses imagery that removes any suspicions of reading a cliche spy novel replete with FBI interviews, fast cars and such. It's more like a Spy Odyssey, that is how rich this story is. ( )Another of Ludlum's better novels. Two ageing spies are coming to the end of the careers. On different sides of the cold war, both men are in similar position, veteran field agents that are not necessarily so useful anymore, but know a lot of secrets. They have no families to live for. They can't stand each other, but they uncover a conspiracy that shocks even them, and must form an uneasy alliance to try and stop this massive corporate funded terrorist plot. http://notfreesf.blogspot.com/2006/12... no reviews | add a review
