Nothing there that makes it memorable in my opinion. I though it petered out in the end. Damian's agenda wasn't clearly emphasized. Characters never fully take shape in this one - be it Damian or his mother. Joker anyway wasn't main villain of this one. (That interlude reminded me of Grant Morrison's other Batman comic about Asylum.)Andy Kubert's cover art (for all chapters) was interesting.

Can't think of any other high point, even the 'improved' batmobile failed to teal show. ( )

Talia, daughter of Ra's al Ghul, reveals to Batman that he has fathered a son with her, who is now growing beyond her control. Damian proves to be a handful indeed - spoiled, arrogant, filled with turmoil. Trained by the League of Assassins, 10-year-old Damian stands at a crossroad, possessor of Batman's skills but not his moral code. The book includes a one-shot written and illustrated story which is quite good, and a somewhat confusing look at a possible future for Batman's descendants. Good artwork by Andy Kubert. ( )
