This is probably one of my favorite Thanksgiving stories yet. This story starts off asking about how the holiday was started, then getting into the history of the holiday, followed by foods that were eaten in the past and in the present on this holiday. I loved that at the back of the book there is a fall activity, other Thanksgiving books, words to know, and fun facts. The book is simple, but yet detailed enough for young readers to get the true idea of the Thanksgiving holiday. ( )

This book provides a great history lesson on Thanksgiving and how the holiday came to be. It is a simple read and also connects the present time with the past. In the back of the book, there is a fall-themed activity, fun facts, and words to know from the story. ( )
