Two novelletes - Legacy and The Outcasts of Heaven Belt. The Heaven system had no habitable planets, but does have colonies and astroids. Civil war leaves resources and technology for scavengers. Legacy: A freelance reporter finds a prospector with something the major corporations want badly. Outcasts of Heaven Belt: An outworld ship comes to establish trade, but the remaining colonies form two groups to try and steal the ship and its technology.
