The day after his eighteenth birthday, Ray Bond's uncle gives him $30,000 in cash, takes him to the bank to put it in a safe deposit box and make him promise never to tell anyone about it. He wants Ray to use it to go to college and become a lawyer. The next day, Ray's uncle commits suicide. Soon, several people are after him, threatening to kill him if he doesn't give them the money. Who does the money really belong to? Did his uncle really commit suicide? Should Ray keep the money or get it back. With his life on the line, he finally finds out the truth. This was a good short book. It read fast and kept moving throughout. ( )
