Phoebe and Paige arrive for a pre-opening weekend and some sisterly bonding, but are soon drawn into danger by incidents both natural and unnatural. A powerful shaman holds the key to the mystery with his secret knowledge -- knowledge that is shared by the wolf haunting the land. I feel badly about reading this in fits and bursts, rather than all in one sitting. I like them better when I read these all at once because I like the continuous action. This was an interesting story, though my reading it in fits and starts took away from it somewhat. The most interesting oddity of this story was the thought to throw garlic powder at the demon chasing after Cole. Surprisingly enough it deterred it. ( )
