Weisbord and Janoff also do a good job in emphasizing the structural aspects of designing meetings. Rather than get caught up in the emotional dramas that typically ensue from meetings, work on making the environment one where things can actually happen. Look for common ground, avoid projecting your emotions on the group, look past others' emotional projections on to you or the meeting in general.
