Loading... Electric Jesus Corpseby Carlton, III Mellick
In Mellick's first book, an epic supposed retelling of the tale of Christ, we get an intense helping of what makes the author great: brilliant style, outrageous surrealism, and tons of sex and violence. One of the problems a lot of people have with the book is that the contents are simply too outrageous or that it's too long - at 150,000 words it's quite a hefty tome. If you're a fan of Mellick's brand of bizarre, though, it's like an all-you-can-eat buffet of all your favorite meals. Go ahead and overeat. You won't regret it. ( ) |
