[2006- 05-18] Not one of his series books, and I believe it was the first book he wrote, though not the first published. I couldn't get into it at all, and put it down again a couple of chapters in. But I think it was me as much as the book (I was under a lot of stress at the time, and unfamiliar books weren't going to get much chance), and I'd willingly give it another go.
