No current Talk conversations about this book.

An obscure item indeed, rarely even menttioned by Du Bois` many biographers.

"When he was invited to the People`s Republic of China to participate in the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Benjamin Franklin...he had met the passport refusal by writing a small, beautifully illustrated book on Benjamin Franklin and sending it to China." - Shirley Graham du Bois - His Day is Marching On.

Presumably, this is a version of that booklet. ( )
