#6, Squeaky, Go out and rent Sin City! The version I bought allows you to watch the version released to theaters or you can watch the individual stories (The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill and That Yellow Bastard) with extra scenes bringing it even closer to the original graphic novels.

Sin City was probably as close as you get, though I'm not sure if you count graphic novels.

decided to read one of Frank Miller's Sin City books today, since their always short and perfect

It's not Sin City I'm thinking about (which I actually rather like), but the insanity he's currently inflicting upon humanity in All Star Batman and Robin. To quote: "Are you dense? Are you retarded? I'm the goddamned Batman."
