Loading... Balance Point (2000)by Kathy Tyers
Another slow volume in the New Jedi Order series. The natural vernacular of Star Wars is action, and this book is more intrigue; there isn't enough dramatic tension to match the unfolding of events. One of the plot threads-- Jacen Solo's agonizing about whether or not to use the Force-- was a bit tedious. The book provides its checklist of plot points in the overall arc without really standing out on its own. ( )Han and Leia are reunited as they attempt to help refugees from the Yuuzhan Vong invasion settle on the planet Duro. A solid entry in the series that focuses heavily on character development but still have enough action to keep the story moving. no reviews | add a review
