... I like it or not. I enjoy books that weave a tale by jumping back and forth in time. I recently finished Labyrinth and Sepulchre by Kate Mosse and enjoyed both books. Not a Sepulchre fan either. I was quite disappointed. I was 3/4 of the way through it at the dentists office and the receptionist said she would love to read it. By the time I left I was nearly finished... so I handed it over . Not Sry.
I am having trouble setting down with a book right now. I ... # 1, GrayHead: I thought the same thing about Sepulchre, minus the part of being compelled. So I decided to abandoned it. If you finish it, I'd be interested in hearing what you think about it!
I'm reading A Million Little Pieces at the moment, and I'm finding it alright. Nothing special. Another summer reading week: Kate Mosse's Sepulchre, cardboard characters, thin plot and pretentious writing but still strangely compelling; John Harvey's Gone to Ground, excellent crime-writing; and Simon Lewis's Bad Traffic, a completely surprising book with a Chinese 'hero' who ... ... 15. The Google Story, David A. Vise I've just started Sepulchre by Kate Mosse. Not exactly literary, but I bought it to get me through a flight last night, and it did the job. I'm also reading The Google Story - fantastic! Mmmm - I was refraining from mentioning Sepulchre but you are absolutely correct. Apparently the paperback edition has photos in the back. My husband began it but did not get on with it. However he says that the details regarding the village are fairly accurate - in fact we have eaten at the Pi ... ... I learned Latin and ancient Greek—two languages I wouldn't actually have to speak!
I see that Kate Mosse's new book, Sepulchre, is set mostly in and around Rennes-les-Bains. ... all the McCall Smith they had so I came home with: Three books for the two I gave the bookstore back.
