... I have to say I really liked Lost Boys. If you got 350 pages into and didn't notice anything horror-like, then I can only say you were missing some stuff. The Mormon material is there, but not too big a deal. The family in the book is Mormon after all, but the stuff about the religion ... Lost Boys 21. Lost boys, by James Miller ... order seeming to relate which users who use which tag have which book.
Any and all popular books written by Mormons - Lost Boys or Saints by Orson Scott Card, about Mormons - Under the Banner of Heaven or No Man Knows My History: The Life of Joseph Smith or even about the ... I've never read an Orson Scott Card book. I've almost picked up Lost Boys several times due to the positive reviews it has gotten. But then I made the mistake of reading some of Card's non-fiction columns. He comes of as a real jerk and I'm not real eager to pick up any of his stuff. (T ... As has been the case this summer, I have two books going: Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card and Cujo by (who else?) Stephen King. I actually hadn't planned on reading Cujo, but I needed a small paperback to bring with while I waited at the doctor's office, and Cujo seemed to jump off my bookshelf ... ... classic!
Up next: Skeleton Crew by Stephen King (I'm spending the summer re-reading his short story collections), Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card, and Airframe by Michael Crichton. Finished Ender in Exile last night. I think I'm going to go back to the Stephanie Plum series now and also reread Lost Boys Then I need to read the book club book The Ten Year Nap Which will probably get done in one weekend, that's usually how I do the book club books. Next month is my ... I'm walking to the library this morning to pick up Apologize, apologize and Cutting for Stone. Also waiting for Lost Boys to appear in the mail. Lost Boys
I think this is Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card; haven't read it in a while, but it sounds close enough to what I remember. ... me to even consider reading it), but The Shining was probably one of the best books I've ever read. I also really enjoyed Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card; sufficiently creepy without being overly gory.
