It seemed like it would be a straightforward caper novel from the back cover. However, there was a little too much of the author's background as an author of romance novels in this one for me to enjoy it. It wasn't something mentioned on the back or else I would have read a bit before purchasing.

Busty heroine sighing over legendary-but-mysterious, dashingly handsome (and, oh, those flashing green eyes!!) thief who wins her heart by saving her from the really bad robbers and never lets his hands wander whilst manhandling her around...

Blond spitfire who teases handsome head of security mercilessly while secretly melting inside—his for the asking if he would just ask...

...Not quite as billed in the blurb (in my opinion) but not badly written. If you like romances and want them spiced up with a bit of a caper plot, this might be your cup of tea. ( )

I like these people. There's a lot of 'not quite who they're presented to be', but the author doesn't try to fool the reader - we know quickly that there's more to this person, though not what. Wolfe and Storm are great, though it was a little disconcerting to be suddenly diverted from Quinn and Morgan (which was the first part of the book). This is really the first part of a three-volume novel - it doese't quite stand on its own. There's a good story in here but there are way too many loose threads by the end of the book to call it a complete story - Wolfe and Storm are settled but not the bigger story. And being me, I really want to read the original Loveswept version of these stories - she tells us she's modified this into a deeper story than she could tell in a genre romance but I'd like to see the original as well.
