This is a good fairy tale for younger readers. The three hens and their eggs are all a nice build up to revealing moment when we discover that all of us are important in our own particular way. We simply need to stop trying to outdo each other and be the best version of ourselves. Good lesson to learn. ( )

A delightful little book that follows a contest between three unique chickens to lay the most wonderful egg in the world. Although the story is very short, the illustrations are superbly done and funny. A great quick read about how everyone can be special. ( )
