This is a great book to use to teach children about the life cycle of a plant. It would be a great addition to a science lesson on plants. ( )

This book is great for teaching the methods of planting. The illustrations are watercolors and hazy, but very beautiful. The text is a great compliment to the picture because it explains all the steps during the seasons. This would be great in Science and interactive activities. ( )

Children love to learn, this book will help them understand how seeds may travel and grow. This book is also good to be used when teaching sequencing of events.

I read this book for a read aloud. It would be good for lessons that have to do with growing/ flowers/ Cylcle of plants, weather for teachers (Sequencing of events) . The kids will like it because you can relate it to them how they are growing right now and so is the plants. ( )

This book is about the journey of a tiny seed until it grows into a flower and starts producing seeds. I have been using it to create an integrated unit for Science and Language Arts - first grade. The sentences are long and have lots of information so it has to be taught during at least a week of studies. The pictures are great and the information is accurate.
