White Rabbit's color book, is considered a non-fiction narrative book. It talks about a bunny that explores primary colors through hopping from bucket to bucket of paint. He discovers colors like green and purple in the bucket exploration and children love to make the predictions of his new colors when he is hopping in them. It can be very interactive with the children's predictions and you can also pretend to be bunnies! I love this book. Preschoolers love it too! ( )

Baker tells the tale of a mischievous rabbit who decides to dip into tubs of different colors of paint. White rabbit being white, dips himself into yellow, “sunshine yellow” and he thought is was “lovely”. He stays yellow and finds a tub of red and changes to brown. He goes though many colors and decides that the mixture of blue, yellow and brown are just the color for him, brown. This book shows how colors mix and make different colors and how being a different color is “just right” for him.

I recall enjoying this, but not as much as some others with a similar concept. Awfully cute though, of course! ( )

This book follows the adventures of a white rabbit as he discovers what happens when colors mix. I like this book because it has bright images that help children to see and understand the difference between primary and secondary colors. This book was a big book and had only a few words on each page, however the word were unnecessary because the book would have made just as much sense without the words. It was a good book to understand how mixing different colors make other new colors. The illustrations were simple and not distracting. Everything in the book was very straight forward. ( )
