I imagine this book is better than I think it is. I have the notion that the characters and situation intrigued me, but I just couldn't keep my mind < ... ... in Oklahoma, the so-called heart of Native America, and I know next to nothing about Native American literature. I read Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko in college and remember thinking it was good, but I can't remember much about it now. ... packet)
I'm trying to think of other things I might have read from, say, 1970-2000, but I'm only coming up with pulp ... Ceremony was an interesting, well-crafted book. Hmmm, there must be others ...

I've finished Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko, I didn't really get it at first, but as we're dicussing it in AP American Literature, I'm appreciating it more and more. We're starting The Great Gatsby next week, very excited!
