Stina is visiting her granfather on his island, and she likes to play in the ocean. One day her grandfather suggest they go over to his friends house beacuse it is his birthday. When they get there he is so pleased that his friend remembered his birthday and brought him his favorite, honey sandwiches. They tell stories about the past all day and at the end of the story he gives Stina a tub she can play with in the water. I did not really like this book, i did not understand it and thought it seemed quite pointless. I would not read this to my children beacuse i do not think they would like it very much. It does deal with the ocean and family and friends which are good topics to talk about. If i did read it to my children, I would read it to younger children. no reviews | add a review
