Of workplace parables, this is of the more enjoyable books. Quick prose, challenging goals, and a conceivable plan to implement them. Recommended for workplace book club discussions. ( )

A simplistic novel just to provide an excuse to present 10 principles about harnessing positive energy and positive thinking. You'll learn:
• 10 principles to manage negativity and harness positive energy to achieve your desired outcomes. Become the driver of your own bus, channel energy to the right place, fill your tank with positive energy, invite others on the journey, not wasting energy on those who refuse to board, remove energy vampires from your bus, use enthusiasm to attract and retain passengers, love your passengers, drive with purpose, and enjoy the ride.
• How to start your own Energy Bus in 11 steps.

Great book. A little corny, but it is a great read and great for the workplace. ( )

The rules/lessons are straightforward. No surprises. The story that drives the lessons is simple. Still thinking what research is out there about leadership books that use this kind of narrative.
I think this book will be helpful for folks who have a lot of negativity in their lives and need something simple to move forward. Please also note that it does get a bit religious. ( )
