Great book on dyeing, painting wool. Very easy to follow instructions. My all-time favorite!!! Sock knitters will love this book too. ( )

This is a great book for knitting with your own handspun yarn. I am a beginning knitter and I have made 2 pairs of socks now without difficulty! ( )

Lovely photographs, but sock knitting section of the book is not layed out well for easy reference. Was delighted to learn about flat-knitted socks and found the dyeing and spinning sections interesting. ( )

This is NOT a book about knitting socks although there are some patterns in the back. This is a book about DYEING yarns to get what you want. It's also a book about handspun yarns. Not your ordinary sock knitter's fare but a tastey look at spinning, blending, dyeing & knitting real natural fibre socks! If you spin or dye your own yarns & want to knit socks, this is the one for you ( )
