I had been looking into Novus Spiritus since the first time I read one of Sylvia's books, and this book helped clarify some points for me. All of her books have a lot of humor and heart, and after reading them, I always feel good. This book was no different. Another hit! ( )very interesting. Back in the early 1970s, Sylvia Browne started a Gnostic Christian church called Novus Spiritus, and it's grown over the years, though is still fairly small compared to mainline churches. In this book, she lists the 21 tenets of the Gnostic belief, with one per chapter, then writes about how the tenet applied to her own life. It's part autobiography, taking up where her best selling book "Adventures of a Psychic" left off 25 years ago. If you enjoy Sylvia's other books, you'll probably like this one, too, though it wasn't nearly as intriguing as some of her other books have been. I'm one of her fans, so I read everything she writes. But if I'd never heard of her before, this particular book would probably not spur me on to look for more. I rate it a 3. What a fascinating book! I had a hard time putting it down once I started. Sylvia is a phenomenal psychic that touches your heart no reviews | add a review
